I'm curious how this is wired up internally.
The Celeron J3455 only supports six PCIe lanes, of which the 10Gbps Ethernet would use four.
That leaves two lanes for two Gigabit Ethernet ports and three SATA ports, assuming the native SATA ports are used. I guess it's possible they use a 1-4 port multiplier, but that would really cause a performance bottleneck.

so two pcie 2.0 lanes can do up to 1GB/s (without overhead/encoding) and that is already more than the little CPU has the horsepower to do - so i think it's like this:

2x - 10G LAN
2x - Marvel (or whatever) SATA controller
1x - 1G LAN
1x - 1G LAN

On a similar subject - I beleive the Synology DS 918+/1019+ have their "super speed" nvme ports at 1 lane of PCIe 2.0 ( <500MBps) because they only have 6 lanes to play with.

I did not know Terramaster was made by Coolermaster...ya learn something new every day.

Yes we know - buuut why would they give it x4 if the rest of the hardware cannot provide close to 10Gbps throughput? (and they are short on lanes in the first place)
Even though the 10GB LAN chipset can use up to x4 it will also work with just x1 (and it will work up to the throughput limitations of x1 of course).
It's a little bit like the Raspberry Pi3 and it's "1GB" lan - it connected at 1GBit but you only got 300-400MBps throughput because it was connected via USB 2. It was probably considered an ok design compromise because the CPU and storage would unlikely/need to go above that.

I've yet to see a single reviewer dig up actual information connecting Terra Master to Cooler Master as a company, but would definitely be interested. Terra Master popped up in 2010 and is based in Shenzen, China, while Cooler Master is based in Taipei with a factory in Huizhou, China, having been around since at least the early '90s. The only thing they seem to share is the appropriated logo shape.
