The Super Flower Leadex III ARGB Gold with 850 W maximum power output performs well and operates quietly. If you are after an RGB-lit power supply and don't mind the price premium, you should include this PSU in your list. Super Flower will bring this model to the US soon.

That looks like a great power supply but you can also get a non-RGB variant of the 850 Leadex III for €45 less (€150 vs 105 for the 850W Leadex III)

So, that's a significant (40%) premium for RGBLED which is enough that even RGBLED lovers might hesitate, and as a person who doesn't really care about RGBLED, I'm just considering that the overwhelming majority of modern ATX cases completely hide the entire PSU behind a shroud - making the RGBLED pointless. This is a great product 20 years too late for the acrylic case trend that started in '98 and had crashed/burned by about 2005.

For a moment I thought that all connectors were transparent plastic with RGBLED lighting, but only the end that plugs into the (hidden behind a shroud) PSU are transparent :(

This is beautiful PSU:

And that one in review is not beautiful PSU.

They are both made by Super Flower, just beautiful one was designed in 2012, and awful one in 2020...

Is Europe on 50Hz for power? North America is 60Hz, probably doesn't really matter though?

Pretty sure Europe is on 240VAC/50hz mains service.

Nominal 230V, but close enough and most appliances are rated 220-240V input.

there are lots of good PSUs in this price range, for example, Seasonic Focus Plus Gold, Super Flower Leadex III (if you are in Europe), Corsair RM and RMx.
