German DIY liquid cooling major Alphacool brought two unique turnkey products to CES 2020, the updated Eisbaer Aurora AIO CPU cooler, and the Eiswolf AIO graphics card cooler. The Eisbaer Aurora is an original design by Alphacool, and bring a few feature additions with this generation. To begin with, Alphacool claims the pump is significantly quieter than the original Eisbaer. The casing of the new Eisbaer's pump-block now comes with ARGB (digital RGB) embellishments. If you look closely into the acrylic windows, you'll see illuminated polar bears around the pump housing.
The tubing and quick-release fittings have been updated to Alphacool's latest TPV series. Lastly, Alphacool has upgraded the included fans to the new Aurora Lux Pro fans that have ARGB lighting. The Eisbaer Aurora comes in four variants based on radiator size: 240 mm x 120 mm, 280 mm x 140 mm, 360 mm x 120 mm, and 420 mm x 140 mm. The biggest advantage Alphacool claims over other AIOs is the choice of materials: both the block and radiator are copper.
The Eiswolf Aurora VGA AIO has pretty much the same innovations as the Eisbaer Aurora, except its refreshed full-coverage VGA block design that comes with an illuminated logo depending on the GPU-compatible variant you order. The block uses nickel-plated copper and POM acetal top as primary materials.
