CORSAIR's acquisition of SCUF Gaming meant that we got our hands on a custom SCUF controller, which in turn means we definitely had to review it. Today, we take a look at the SCUF Impact for the PS4 and PC, which is their most successful controller thanks to a ton of configuration options on both looks and function alike!

For Tekken 7 and Dead or Alive 5LR/6 tournaments I've been using a SCUF Infinity for scrimmages and a customized HORI Arcade Pro for the ladders. I removed the rear paddles since they're not really useful for fighting games. It works well for its purpose.

I recently bought a cheapo (chinese brand?) xbox 360 controller but it has really bad dead zones on the thumbsticks. Makes any kind of precision movement essentially impossible. My budget is like, £30. This one is waaaaay too expensive. I've got a wired original, Microsoft x360 controller in the living room with the GTX 1660 SUPER PC, which is fantastic to this day with (more or less) daily use.

I use a Elecom JC-U4113SWH wireless game pad personally. It's a lot like a PS3 controller, but the major thing with it I like in particular that I honestly think every controller should really have is a rapid fire toggle function for any of the buttons with 3 different speed variations something like 5ms/10ms/15ms pulse intervals it works quite well. The lower two L/R buttons are also trigger sensitive ones. I've contemplated modding the actual sticks with those nice magnetic thumb sticks that you can quick swap to adjust the height of them low/mid/high to taste for games.

Oh nice, thanks for sharing this. The original version worked fine for me, but I'll check this out.
No biggie. Can't fault you for not knowing this, especially since you have not used a DS4 before. I was unaware of the fork at first too, back when I bought a DS4 v2 to replace my aging 360 controller.

Going by one of the video's this is a no go, but maybe it's the game or some thing as i was not really noticing any percentage throttling, like to see some one try TT Isle Of Man with this.

That price is a total fail, be better of personally buying 2-3 xbox controllers.

Don't go by the videos, I was having a hard time recording a session with my current Windows update that likes to break everything when it comes to the Game Bar tool, so I used an older demo. It works exactly like a DS4 controller, because it is one, and thus it comes down to the games that support it. We'll have a review of the SCUF Prestige soon as well, which is their Xbox controller that of course has more native Windows 10 support.

Hello everyone! Can someone who owns this gamepad test out something of crucial importance?
It involves the tester in windows' game controller properties.
Let me elaborate:
The analog sticks of the xbox controller (and the ds3) had a square-shape output, which means that pushing the stick diagonally equals 100% vertical + 100% horizontal output, the cross of the tester can reach the corners of the square.
The ds4 unfotunately has a round output, so pushing the stick diagonally can never reach max output, the tester's cross moves in a circle, unable to reach the corners.
Here are the gif examples someone else made:

So how is it with the scuf impact?
