The G604 is Logitech's new multi-purpose wireless gaming mouse. The HERO 16K sensor and 15 fully programmable buttons make it suitable for FPS, MOBA, and MMO gaming. Wireless operation is possible in 2.4 GHz Lightspeed or Bluetooth mode, and the metal scroll wheel may tilt horizontally and spin freely, making the G604 suitable for productivity, too.

You don't find the scroll wheel the least bit slippery?
The reason I ask, is because I recently got a G502 SE, which has the "same" scroll wheel and at times, especially if your fingers are a touch damp or greasy, it feels slippery.
I feel like it needs a texture, rather than the cog shape they made it in.

"High weight" as a con. Sigh, another fail review. Time and time again, gaming mouse reviewers always note that as a bad thing and it all stems to marketing. Pushing lighter every chance they get. "Lighter is better!"

Lighter is not better, lighter = carpel tunnel. There are plenty of studies out that show you do not want light mice. Lighter requires more muscle movement than heavy because our muscles are constantly having to keep it maintained. In repetitive motion under gaming environments, you want a mouse that is either adjustable or something you can add a weight to. A little weight is good. But what do reviews always say,"lighter is better!" I've lost count of how many people I've had to educate in the last 20 years or so. People who were sold on the idea of light and then discovered how much of a lie it was after I showed them. No more wrist braces!

That said, 604 looks like a pain internally compared to the 602. As a 602 owner, I see more reason to buy another 602 than a 604.

Because it is better for me. In no way I am missing my Swiftpoint Z after Glorious, that was a heavy mouse and I'm glad I got this. It's much easier to pick up and move around, and that is exactly a plus.

Don't be delusional.

So, I am currently using the G602, probably the most expensive mouse I've bought myself. I was most happy with M705 and the thumb button there (which they "re-mastered" due to cannibalizing any sales on that price point to launch the Triatlon). Bluetooh functionality is really nice there, I hope they fixed the "scroll" issue which I experienced and fixed with contact spray as many other people. Also I had the "double-click" issue while it was under warranty and I returned it for repair. To be honest for so much money and so little use I've got from G602, two issues is a lot in my book. My next choice will be either the successor of M705-> Triathlon or this one here G604. I still like the shape of G602/604 and I am used to the weight both M705 and G602 use 2xAA batteries apart from their own weight. On the software side of things I've never used at least 60% of the "gaming" features the G602 offers in their software suit. M705 has a straight to the point driver with functionality.

Have had this mouse since it's release in september, and I can say that for me battery life has been excellent. Have swapped one AA battery about a month ago.

I did have one issue where one of the macro buttons got loose and fell out (with normal gaming, no raging), and I currently have a case with Logitech for that, so will update after i hear back from them. Not what i expected from a $99 mouse tbh.

Other than that the mouse have been excellent.

99,99$ and doesn't even have a built-in li-ion recheargable battery, i will look elswhere.

Yeah there's no really excuse for that when even a $3 BT handsfree off Aliexpress has a li-ion rechargeable through usb.

I just got a replacement G604 under warranty for a double-click issue on mine. I hope the replacement last more then 3 months. I found the weight just a tad heavier then I'd like with standard NiMH battery. However with a rechargeable Lithium AA its a little better.

I wish they would make a G500/G510 lightspeed, Hero 16K, low weight mouse, that uses a single AA. I won't buy integrated battery mice like G502 lightspeed, as their batteries eventually die. My mice last a long time, I still have my G5 for office use, after I soildered on some new click switches.

This is the complete opposite for me. Any mouse over 100g is uncomfortable and considered bulky for my usage.

I modded my old MX518 back then just to get it to 89g. When I shifted to the G703, I was able to get it down to 85g.

However, my current Sensei Ten is nice at 92g along with a Viper Ultimate at 74g for competitive play. This budget Luminosa is also nice at 94g.

99,99$ and doesn't even have a built-in li-ion recheargable battery, i will look elswhere.

The disadvantage of built-in batteries are once they wear out after a few years, you would have to replace the entire mouse or modify it to replace the internal battery. This is not really a problem if it lasts for 3 to 5 years. It would be a problem if the internal battery gets defective early and doesn't keep a charge or has problems charging.

Has there been hardware revisions made to this mouse? I noticed two reviews listed for this mouse; one in 2019 on some different site and the one this year on this site.

Wondering as the review from 2019 states double clicking issues with the mouse while this review mentions no such thing.

I'm considering this mouse as a replacement for my Corsair M65 Elite RGB which developed left double click problems, so I'd also like to know if this mouse suffers the same?
(No decent Corsair mouses (sic) available where I live)
