SilentiumPC has updated their heavyweight cooler lineup with the Grandis 3 and Grandis 3 EVO ARGB. These hefty dual-tower coolers feature a value-focused design, but considering we have seen high-end coolers humbled by cost-effective competitors in the past, anything can happen.

What an Anti-climax. The cooler looked pretty well machined too. At least its cheaper than the Dark Rock Slim

In all honesty it probably just doesn't cope as well with the 8700K's IHS and TIM. I expect far better performance on AMD setups and even the newer 10th gen. I will look into that later on.
