The Lancool II was a huge success, but lacking for those who sought to really push thermal performance. To address this, Lian Li is now offering an ARGB and a Performance version. In our Lancool II Mesh Performance review we'll test the latter to see if we walk away just as impressed as with the original.

Great case, but I dunno. I'd prefer the CM h500 over this one owing to its dual 200mm fans.
It's a tough call though.

I've been waiting years to find a case that has the same kind of block connection for the HDD's, really tidies up the cables when connecting multiple HDD's. Mesh cover at the bottom is nice too.

I don't know... For me, Lian-Li were always those cool, classic-look, full-alloy high quality cases. The whole PC-V1000 series was the epitome of that. But, since they called this one Lancool (which was their separate brand back in the day), then i guess it's fine.

The case looks just fine, I'd just complain about small number of USB ports up front.

If CoolerMaster and ThermalTake made a case.
It's a NO from me.
Far too many niggling things that outweigh any possible benefits, to entice me to buy this, in fact I can't think of anything about it that could entice me from my current case.

Way too big for my tastes but there's no denying that's a handsome case that ticks all the right boxes otherwise - Understated, functional, loads of actually-useful features, and a reasonable price.

It's a shame the included fans are so loud but given the price it's still competitive even when you replace them with better ones.

$12 for a single USB-C cable is nuts though. I do understand that it's $11.75 of packaging, stocking, admin, and other non-cable costs but I'd rather lose one of the fans, 3.5" drive caddies, or right-side panel than have to pay $12 (plus shipping and taxes) just for 25 cents of 'dumb', controllerless cable that also seems to be unnecessary hassle to install.

NGL if the rear window was replaced with just a normal steel panel i'd pick it up. There really isn't a point for me to have tempered glass on the rear side where all the cables are tucked away in

I really like that feature too, especially since nearly all cases these days has removed the bays from the front. Case is a little bit too big for me. I hope such a feature comes to a smaller sized case.

Nice case, I really like the 3.5" hot-swap drive caddies. Pity I don't use 3.5" drives anymore (unless I count my NAS, of course).

I don’t know if you received a different unit than others did but, if not, there should really be a mention of the open hole at the bottom of the cases front fascia. This seems like a huge drawback, since it will pull dust directly into a chassis with an already porous filter, especially if you’re to add a third fan.

It would also be nice if TPU did noise-normalized measurements. I appreciate that they can be misleading but, based on other reviews, they would also produce different observations of the noise this chassis makes than presented here. For example, it was at the top of GamersNexus’s chart when normalized for 35db, making it the coolest case in that metric.

I don’t think the fans are loud at all given this case is a chart topper in performance. Considering they can also be run at slower speeds via the fan controller, it’s a non issue

Hello,
I know this thred is quite old but maybe somebody will be able to help me - Im looking for a dust filter for the front - I have 360mm radiator with fans as intake and I would like to mount some dust filer.
Anybody knows what I can buy?

You'll probably struggle to find a magnetic fan filter that is the right shape and size for the front panel, but you could easily get some magnetic fan filters for your 3x120 fans instead. it's a bad idea to put a filter directly onto a mesh panel because the tiny holes won't line up and you'll cut your airflow to almost zero, another reason you should mount the filters to your fans instead of the front panel.

Amazon, ebay, AliExpress - whetever works best for the country you're in - just search for "magnetic dust filter 360 x 120"

They should stick to the steel screws your fans are using. If you're worried that the filter material will sag in the middle and rub on the middle fan, you could also just buy three separate 120 x 120mm filters instead.
