EK, the premium water cooling gear manufacturer, is extending the Quantum Torque fitting lineup with Satin Titanium static extenders, rotary extenders in all finishes, and specialized push-in hardline fittings called Micro HDP. Expanding the Torque fitting series is one of EK's key objectives, in an effort to ease the loop-building process and create specialized products for every scenario builders may find themselves in.
This static extender series consists of 7 different models with varying lengths and types. They are all CNC-machined out of brass, featuring a satin silver finish with high-quality EPDM O-rings for sealing. They can be tightened down by hand, or a 9mm Allen Key. Available in three different length variations - 7, 14, and 28 mm - some are also available in Male-Male (MM), Male-Female (MF), and Female-Female (FF) G1/4" thread versions.
These are rotary counterparts of the static series extenders. The revolvable joint allows for perfect placement of - let's say - your drain port, where you can screw it all the way in without having to worry if it will end up upside-down. These rotary extenders come in the form of dual male G1/4" thread or male+female.
They only come in one length, and that is 14 mm. As with all Torque extender fittings, the length is measured without the thread, just for the installed height.
EK-Quantum Torque Micro HDP 12
EK's latest push-in hard-tube fittings are designed for use with 12 mm solid tubing, such as Acrylic and PETG. The tube is inserted into the Micro HDP 12 fitting and gripped by two inner O-rings. They are stealthy and made to be as small as possible.
Engineered specifically for captive tubing, they are intended to run between two GPU water blocks, or from a GPU to the distro plate. Most importantly, the tube should not be able to move when using these fittings. This fitting line comes in all 4 finishes - Nickel, Black Nickel, Black, and Satin Titanium.
