V2 Pro promises to be an overpriced product with mediocre quality and will develop a long and distinguished list of issues in just couple months of ownership.

Razer actually fixed their stuff. Get with the times and drop the 6 year old belief.

I've been using the V2 (wired) for a few months now, it replaced an over a decade old Logitech G500. Ergonomics are really great, and so is sensor accuracy, you can use 2400-3200 DPI for normal use, no problems there, it's well made. It's not Razer you know/think of 10 years ago.

Nt Razer bot - my 2019 Ornata had faulty switches after just 6 months of use, my Deathadder Chroma had a collapsed right click and rubber side grips that fell of just after 4 months of use.


I did have the original Deathadder from 2007 and that one last me 7 years. Their quality took a major nose dive in the last 5 years... but sure keep buying their stuff. I don't care.

1 year ago i decided i should replace my generic 5-6 years old keyboard and mouse just because i wanted something new and shinny, was amazed how fast they broke, keyboard replaced 2 times and mouse 3 times.
Went i went to computer store i was ready for the usual " you did something to it" to deny warranty but there was no need, guy working there told me this is the new normal, they are made very cheap and to break at some point, no matter the brand.

I've never owned one, but this particular model from Razer has always looked really appealing to me. I feel like, it'll fit my hand real good. However, my G602 is still alive, soo I keep going with it until it breaks.

The brand matters. There are some quality products out there that last more than whatever borrowed time Razer allows you to have with their overpriced devices.

I've been using the Razer Death-Adder PC Gaming Mouse - Ergonomic Left Hand Edition for years now with no issues. Still going strong and the software is quite lite.
This version 2 seems a little overpriced. But I would be interested if a left handed version came out.

Yeah, you should demo or try out their newer products then. I too had the Ornata, but I also understood that it was one of their bottom-of-the-barrel keyboards (albeit it was $99, but got on sale for $40) since it was a typical membrane keyboard with tacked-on RGB and NKRO support. Sad to hear about the DeathAdder Chroma, but the v2 and this v2 Pro seems to have rectified most of the quality drops of the <2019 lineup.

I mostly use Kingston HyperX stuff now, but would definitely go with a this v2 Pro since I hear it actually follows BT standards properly (need this for work) and has wireless rivalling Logitech's offerings.

Sure did, had a Razer mouse last year with double scrolling issues within 1 day. Bought a ROG Chakram instead and no issues for a year now.

Very good review, for me as an old school gamer, there is no other option than Razer. I tested all famous mice and no Company could offer me such a complete mouse like Razer. The software is easy to handle and well thought-out. It's not without reasons that the DeathAdder Model is the most sold mouse model in the world. Everyone can claim what he wants about Razer. In my experience, Razer products have very good quality.

I used the Deathadder V2 wired for a few months and had no issues with it, unlike the mamba tournament edition which had an embarrassingly bad sensor which jumps around. =(
They improved a lot, and double-clicking issues can't be happening with optical switches to my knowledge.
