Join me as we build a keyboard again! Today, we use a rarely seen 96% form factor case paired with Akko's colorful Macaw keycaps and what might be the most premium first-party switches to date in the form of five different Gateron Ink switches.

TPU is dipping into the mechanical keyboard rabbit hole. I’m deep in it since late last year thanks to covid quarantine. Cannot wait to see what kind of articles TPU will be publish about this topic in the future.

The problem with these custom / small manufacturer boards is that their latency is terrible. I've tested multiple models with an average of 12 runs each using justpark keyboard reaction time test. Nothing scientific but with the Eponmaker skylong I get 252ms. With the iGK64 274ms. WIth the durgod venus 257ms. With the Blackwidows V3 mini I get 194ms, quite the difference. I like smaller keyboard brands for their quality but IMO the latency isn't worth the trade-off.

The Patreon preview section on the home page is a good idea to see what articles are next :)

Can't say I have really noticed this, are you using this in wired mode with 1000 Hz polling? In wireless mode of course it is a mixed bag, some models are still on BT 3.0!
