MSI looks to break into the all-in-one liquid cooler market with their MPG CORELIQUID K240. Sporting a built-in LCD on the pump and a fan adding active VRM cooling, this ARGB LED-equipped cooler is host to a plethora of features. It also offers solid performance on Intel systems.

All the cons mentioned below means this product is a dud. Loud fan and pump are a no go.

  • Very expensive for a 240 mm AIO
  • Performance on AMD left much to be desired
  • Incredibly loud at maximum RPM
  • Pump fan is annoying in terms of tone unless given a custom RPM profile

I like the design with integrated fan and LCD display on the pump, but ideally I'm looking for less noise and a 280mm Radiator.

performance and noise were fine on Intel at the very least when looking at noise normalized results, The excess noise isn't a problem but on AMD yeah peformance wasn't stellar meaning on AM4 the cooler would be a great deal louder to maintain performance on par with the competition.

Its probably better to have untapped potential after all but the results show that there is room for improvement for sure.
