The MEG SILENT GALE P12 fan is an innovative product that once again demonstrates MSI's well-rounded accomplishments in gaming. With a reserved all-black look, the MEG SILENT GALE P12 fan is capable of generating airflow to the system for effective cooling while maintaining low noise levels. It has a great performance to show, and you just can't hear it coming.
The MEG SILENT GALE P12's fan blades are constructed by liquid crystal polymer (LCP), a compound that reduces vibration while the fan is running at maximum speed and has a high strength that can withstand thermal expansion. The fan blades are also carefully crafted to maximize airflow performance, optimized at a 32-degree angle to retain 58% of the airflow.
Speaking of airflow, the MEG SILENT GALE P12 fan provides excellent air convection and heat dissipation. This is in part because of the 32-degree fan blade design, as well as because of the design of the frame. The frame is designed with an angle and curvature so that airflow is directed and channeled in a highly focused stream. This design minimizes turbulence, and the focused airflow enhances static pressure.
The MEG SILENT GALE P12 also comes with an HDB (hydro-dynamic bearing), which reduces friction noise as well as increases the fan's life expectancy. The anti-vibration gaskets sitting on the four corners of the fan are also used to reduce rattling caused by the vibration. Lastly, the fan's exterior frame is also robustly made to withstand higher pressure, capable of withstanding 61.24 KG of compressive strength.
