The XFX Radeon RX 6600 XT Merc 308 is a custom-design card that can impress with its ultra-quiet operation. It's pretty much inaudible even when fully loaded, making it the quietest RX 6600 XT we have tested. The card is also of standard-slot height, so it should fit all cases easily.

Stupidly overbuild card ( in a not good way ), instead of a longer card with three small fans, they could have put two large fans that would have done the same performance at lower sound levels , juts like MSI and Sapphire solutions.

I am highly recommend to choose a triple fan for making GPU and memory temperature in low.

With 3 fans, I expected the card to be much cooler but no, it's the hottest under load with the lowest fan RPM. Weird curve.

Is there any real difference between the Quic 308 and Merc 308? Thus far it seems like these cards are going for about 500€ here, give or take 15-20€, which considering the current climate isnt half bad.

So 24dB is too loud? Good luck finding a GPU that is not passively cooled ;)

I have the same card and i wonder if it would help a bit to add thermalpads at the back of the card.
Can the backplate be removed without opening any seals?

One secound question did the thermals improve after you reassembled the card (just in case you put new thermalpaste on it)?

thanks
