The Alphacool Eisblock Aurora Acryl GPX GPU water cooler is now available for GALAX and KFA2 Geforce RTX 3090/3080 TI HOF graphics cards. More performance! To gain more cooling performance, the cooler was made to sit closer to the components that need to be cooled. Alphacool also uses thinner yet more effective thermal pads. Additionally, the thickness of the nickel-plated copper block has been reduced from 7 mm to 5.5 mm and the water flow within the heat sink has been optimized. The result of this development process is that all important components such as voltage converters and V-RAM are cooled much better and more effectively by the water, leading to a significant increase in performance.

Fresh design! The EisBlock Aurora Acrylic GPX cooler has been fundamentally designed to focus more on lighting than previous models. The addressable digital RGB LEDs are embedded directly into the cooling block. The lighting illuminates the entire cooling block and thus gives the cooler a very unique visual touch.

Gone are the days where I will even bother buying a fullblock for my GPU. I replace GPU every 2 years and with 0dB mode sub 60C on all (decent) AIB models now, it is pointless for me. Temps are not whats holding back new GPUs anyway, which are almost peaked out of the box anyway - in terms of clockspeed that is. Watt usage and powerlimiters is the problem..

My 3080 hits 65-70C in gaming with max OC and I can barely hear the fans spinning. However I play with headset anyway.

It's also much easier to sell a GPU that has not been tinkered with, atleast in my experience. The block has pretty much no value after you installed it; people were not willing to pay more and some even wanted the original cooler to be installed before buying..

Reports are many on the tech-channels here about the great success of AIO’s and especially water block applications. With this I wonder what the true “market share” really is
for these kinds of specialty items. Without fail I visit all of our local computer shows and talk to many people there in person, (I love the true interactions and people engagements)
but I do not see nor meet people there which have or seek to buy water blocks. Madhu one of the Bangladesh dealers told me: “We do not see any buying demand for AIO’s or
water blocks as over 95%of the market is still all about ‘air-cooling’ and this is what we recommend under any circumstances. Our customers are all PC enthusiast and tech savvy
and that is the main reason why they come here, they also know a good product when they see it or by physically talking to each other in the aisles. Our customers would never
pay the prevailing and ridicules prices demanded for any type of type of water cooling products to just gain a few colder degrees. We also see less and less overclocking being
done and talked about! Of course our customers always pay cash here to get our extra 10% dealer discount and not pay any sales tax here in Oregon.” Well that is the news and
recent tell-tale from the “Man on the street” and from the overwhelming majority and moreover those who do not have the money to always see the RGB light..
