The Montech Air 1000 Lite is a really interesting chassis since the brand is known for pushing the price-performance barrier while including new engineering and keeping functionality in mind. Let's see if the Air 1000 Lite manages to impress or is nothing but hot air.

As always, another great review from @Darksaber

Looks good and apparently has good airflow, but at $70, it is a hard sell compared to the "original" 4000D, which you can get for $15 more in some retailers.

At least you get an extra fan with this one.

Hello Montech, this is 2001 calling, and we want ALL our outdated, antiquated ports, cables & connectors back, like, 10 years ago, hehehehe :)

I'm with @Udyr.
It's a cheap 4000D knock-off that isn't actually much cheaper. Why buy the imitation when an almost-trivial amount of extra money will get you the genuine article.

Sheesh, you're just as unpleaseable as I am when it comes to cases, albeit for different reasons. :D

Given that we don't know street price for this yet, it'd be more fair to compare MSRP, which makes the delta USD25. The Montech is also 10mm narrower, which may not matter to most, but I personally prefer my cases on the slim side.

Of course, I'm picky enough that I'd probably need to see both in person to choose one over the other.

Maybe post it on the hot deals section for better chances of it getting noticed? This review is old.
