Are you ready for a challenge? Neo Forza has released a dual-rank kit that is pushing the limits of what is possible with DDR4. If you want the best DDR4 has to offer, come check out the overclocking results and see if you have what it takes to run these in your system!

"AMD Ryzen is known to have problems with dual-rank memory."

I thought Ryzen got better performance from dual rank/dual channel, but has difficulty running it at high frequency?

Thanks

Would it have bankrupt Neo Forza to invest an additional $0.25 / unit into a heatspreader that stays on?

I do like the price, and I get this is a budget kit. It's just that I'd rather it cost $211-$215 and were well-made.

Good review there, looking at getting a kit similar to this after I finish with my current crop of kits. Being on the Z590 platform with RL is a bonus here of course.
Is it me or is there no memory read for AMD?

Off topic, but the roo with what looks like a mining lamp a bit, reminded me of a miner, an aussie one which reminded me of mining boom cartoon lol Great show lol

Honestly I liked that it practically falls off because I can use a waterblock without much trouble hahaaa. Seriously I can peel these off with no effort. It is "sticky" just not firm. Once it is on, you are fine for use.

Yes - A lot better from the early days of Ryzen, but still it is a game of chance above 3800. Good luck getting 1:1 FLCK as well. I did it with a G.Skill Royal kit last year. Took weeks to get 3800 1:1 stable. I need to find my exact notes because I was doing it blind for this kit and didn't have the weeks to try every combo again.

Every single time... I do not know how I keep screwing that up. Will be fixed shortly.

  • Requires top-tier motherboard B-die replacement because DJR is trash as usual.
Fixed that for you. Don't @ me Hynix fans. The truth hurts.
What do you think is the better alternative? Why is Hynix trash?

Wait so your saying Hynix DJR is trash because it isnt Samsung B-die? Are you just echoing what someone else told you?

Samsung B is the best for lowest latency, but it cannot reach the speeds Hynix DJR can. Saying it is trash just because is suggesting a poor understanding of memory in general.

Now if you pointed out like 3600 b-die vs 3600 DJR. Yes I would agree b-die will generally have better timings and would make Hynix inferior, but you didnt.

Now that I looked up what b-die was...yeah his answer technically makes more sense to me, but hardly convinced something is trash because it's characteristics are different in speed/timings.

This made me chuckle a bit. Congrats. I was gonna explain myself but now there's no point since I have a poor understanding anyway so I'm out. Peace.

I am honestly sad to see someone leave over such a stupid argument. I may have been a bit heavy on my words but that is how it goes sometimes. Best of luck on your adventures elsewhere.

Mines MUCH happier with my 32GB Dual Rank kit vs my previous 16GB single rank kit.

FTR, Hynix do not make "trash" ram. Not trying to hijack this thread but over here on this thread, it was dead easy to OC with the old CJR hynix ram, I had nearly everything on auto except Vdimm & was able to boot & run MT86 with a 800MHz OC from its XMP speed & that kit is DR also.

Any chance of a review of the G.Skill F4-5066C20D-16GVK memory soon?

Possibly... I bought the kit for overclocking and last year and never intended to review it so I do not have the retai packaging anymore. Its kinda dinged up too. Aka not like a new retail kit anymore.

I am working on a Neo Forza 4x8G 5000 project. The rep wants to see what I can accomplish using a waterblock and 4 DIMM. But I think I'll do a for a single 2x kit as first. Maybe a combo article...idk yet. Up to wiz how he wants it.
