What competition?
PSU they are not high end graphic cards, tiny differences at PSU benchmark charts they are of low importance.
Sure , things such as :
-out-of -spec ripple (very common few years ago even at well known brands) which in long-term can damage the rest of your hardware , or reduce the PSU's capacitors-longevity
-out-of spec hold-up time ,which
if it is low enough can cause a PC with a UPS to close during a power-outage before the UPS manage to be activated(*and since you live in Greece like me you should know how bad is the electrical foundation in our country)
-low build quality components , like fans or low-end capacitors who might fail during stressful situations ,or the lack of proper built-in protection features in many PSUs that can lead the PSU to operate at higher than optimal temperatures , etc etc ...
all these are some of the tiny differences of low importance... for you ,
but for me ,all these i mentioned are huge differences of great importance which are directly related with the longevity of the rest of my hardware. And since i don't like throw-away my money , i pay extra attention to all these "low-importance" details.
With electric bills skyrocketing, only one test has value today and this is not executed.
May i ask which is this test which has value but not executed ? (if you are referring to PSU efficiency , just check page 5 .)
Aris reviews are the most detailed PSU that you will find ...
globally !!
Perhaps the only solution is to make your own reviews that will meet higher -than the existing - standards.
Really , if you aren't satisfied with Aris standards then i don't think that you'll ever be satisfied. All these years he has been by far the most detailed PSU reviewer worldwide.
