The Jackery Solar Generator 300 is a compact, portable battery pack and solar panel combination, which makes it an interesting choice for the weekend warrior, especially as it still provides the same capable SolarSaga 100 panel we have seen in the massive Generator 1000.

$500 is steep even for Jackery. I got an Anker and similar panel for around $350 - perfect for my ECO lawn battery charger. The Anker has LifePo batteries rated at 2000 cycles of I remember correct and supports USB c charging the same time as standard solar, so up to 120w solar with 2 panels

Charging cell phones and laptops? Put these solar generators to the test!

Hobotech made this video, just sayin'.

Enjoyed the review… I do feel it’s a bit overpriced for the wattage.

Hi,
Two year warranty Jackery site offers another 1 year so guess that makes three total

Problem with these batterys is that, you dont want to store that somewhere where thermal runaway starts to occur.

I have a Jackery Explorer 500 and a couple of 200W panes (not portable). IIRC these use PWM charge controllers which will get the job done but arent as good as MPPT controllers. If you're interested in a Jackery you're probably better off with the 1500 model but it will cost you. Oh will it cost you.

The idea this would be remotely useful in any conflict zone is debatable at best. It's designed for casual camping, not war. I'd stick to the topic.

I needed a solar generator for my camping trips and outdoor fun, so I started looking for one that was easy to carry but could also keep all my stuff charged. I wanted to make sure I picked the best one, so I searched for reviews on different solar generators. I found this great site, https://solargenerators.to, that had a lot of good info to help me decide.

After reading through the site, I didn't go for the Jackery Solar Generator 300. Instead, I chose the EcoFlow Delta 1300. I picked it because it can power more things at once and charge up faster, which is perfect for my longer trips where I use more gadgets.

As I stated above, I have the Jackery Explorer 500 but I also have a Bluetti AC500 + B300S system

However, f I were buying today and didn't want to build a DIY system I would probably buy the new EcoFlow DELTA Pro Ultra It's more powerful and cheaper given what it can do. I would have to buy another Bluetti AC500 + B300S system to do 240v split phase but the EcoFlow DELTA Pro Ultra can do 240v on its own. It's a beast!!!!
