It has been a while since Glorious presented a new shape. With the Model I, Glorious not only introduces a 71 g competitor to the popular G502 and Basilisk, but also brings several of the improvements previously exclusive to their wireless offerings to their wired mouse range: BAMF sensor, Kailh GM 8.0 switches, and Glorious Core compatibility.

God dam, the mouse looked so promising (esp. the white version). I watched already before some reviews on Youtube & some where also complaining about the "wobbly" side buttons.

It looks like the issue here is not the switches, but more the loose mounting of the buttons, resulting in too much play. Hope they fix it with a "v2".
Wondering, is it less wobbly with the middle short button installed? Then a workaround could be to sandpaper the other two buttons down.

The Kailh 8.0 switch, although specced very well on paper, suffers from double clicking issues after a few months. My Xlite has been doing it and I fixed it to a degree by doubling debounce time. You probably don't want this mouse.

Does this brand have a model totally designed by their own? I always find some similar elements comes from other mice on their products.

Only the back button can be swapped, and doing so leaves the others unaffected.

Yeah they rebadge large time. Their most infamous mouse, the Model O is basically a Chinese OEM honeycomb design sold for a few bucks on wholesales. Or as in Ajazz AJ390 form, for like 20 bucks and with a better sensor... Glorious rips people off big time with those.

Every time I see a mouse with that hexagon design I think of all the muck/plaque that will build up inside of it. Not to mention all the crud that will fall inside of it. Seems like a cleaning nightmare. Because who doesn't eat some form of food at their desk or who washes their hands every time they sit down at the computer. LOL. OR maybe I am just a pig, IDK.

I was not overly impressed with my Model D. I had 2 of these and they both let me down after 2-3months of use. I bought the Basilisk after this and have been very pleased with it's performance, even though it is considerably heavy. I had high hopes for this model, but after the review I believe that I will just keep what I have for now.
Thanks for the great review.

The Kailh 8.0 switch, although specced very well on paper, suffers from double clicking issues after a few months. My Xlite has been doing it and I fixed it to a degree by doubling debounce time. You probably don't want this mouse.

There is a guy on Youtube also reporting double clicking issues. However, it can be reduced (or fixed?) by increasing the debounce time in the software.

But I also read some chatter about Kailh GM 8.0 beeing plagued with double clicking issues & people picking Kailh GM 4.0 over them for this reason.

Hi,
Double click sucks and leads to finger spasms so it's likely a feature to irritate single clickers like myself
