Alphacool updated its radiator lineup with the new NexXxos HPE series in 30 and 45 mm thickness options. We examine the NexXxos HPE-45 360 mm radiator offering multiple G1/4" ports, a flush mount, low pressure drop, and impressive thermal performance that even challenges thicker radiators!

System Name Bragging Rights
Processor Atom Z3735F 1.33GHz
Motherboard It has no markings but it's green
Cooling No, it's a 2.2W processor
Memory 2GB DDR3L-1333
Video Card(s) Gen7 Intel HD (4EU @ 311MHz)
Storage 32GB eMMC and 128GB Sandisk Extreme U3
Display(s) 10" IPS 1280x800 60Hz
Case Veddha T2
Audio Device(s) Apparently, yes
Power Supply Samsung 18W 5V fast-charger
Mouse MX Anywhere 2
Keyboard Logitech MX Keys (not Cherry MX at all)
VR HMD Samsung Oddyssey, not that I'd plug it into this though....
Software W10 21H1, barely
Benchmark Scores I once clocked a Celeron-300A to 564MHz on an Abit BE6 and it scored over 9000.
Happy with my XT45, chosen for quiet operation with ~1000RPM fans dissipating 300-350W total.
If Alder Lake's 250W default PL2 and Lovelace 450W rumours are anything to go by, loud and high-performance coolers are going to be back in style whether we like it or not.

I was hoping to see them put some pressure on HWL. It seems we will have to continue the wait.

My few cents.

Well it is 2022. Considering the competition, even china is offering mechanical improvements, like side plates with LCD or not, more rigid structure. The copper core doesn't really improve cooling results, its all about the design. It should have more accessories to justify the added costs.

It should deserve more nitpicking considering the price. It is way too high. Well.. it is a rad... but damn, it still looks like made in 2010. Pretty much cooling performance and flow restriction in the grey area when it is okay and it is fine and anything goes, it depends on your taste for fans and how loud you can tolerate them.

So the #1 low RPM rad is still XSPC RX360? Is that v3?
Yes, but I am not sure XSPC has been making anything outside of the TX rads for a while now.

$127 for full copper... that seems like a really good price. a shame we can't get full copper AIO's, I'd gladly pay a little more for that.

Alphacool's own Eisbaers are expandable AIOs with full copper NexXxos radiators and a pump-block-res unit with a copper cold plate. They can also be bought as a separate unit instead of the full AIO.

Hey I recently got the Alphacool Eisbaer Aurora Pro 240mm, and I found the performance lacking with the stock radiator. I'm happy to say that these HPE-45 radiators work with them! I swapped out the default radiator with an HPE-45 240mm. It's working great so far! I love how customizable these Alphacool AIOs are. It's like a pre-assembled custom loop!

You hit the nail on the head. I find it works best with GPU blocks that come with their own pump in the head. I started out with the original Eisbaer 420 and that is now the Rad that cools my GPU. I am thinking of getting the C1 for my PC next.
