NZXT today released the C1000 Gold, a 1,000-Watt model in its C-series line of performance-segment power supplies. These PSUs are characterized by full-modular cabling, 80 Plus Gold efficiency, and semi-fanless cooling. The C1000 Gold provides a 24-pin ATX power connector, two 4+4 pin EPS, six 6+2 pin PCIe power, six SATA power, and six legacy power connectors. The PSU uses a 135 mm fluid-dynamic bearing fan to keep cool, and stays fanless under most non-gaming workloads. Under the hood, the C1000 Gold features a single +12 V rail design, active PFC, DC-to-DC switching, and most common electrical protections. Available now, the C1000 Gold is priced at USD $179.99.
