I'm not who you asked, but I think the sweetspot is moving. Right now there are only 5600-6000 cl36-40 kits available for a reasonable price. I agree with @ZetZet . "Sweet spot" is a moving target right now I think. 6000 MT/s has a high compatibility among mothebroards and most likely it will be good for AMD as well. Get the latency down some more and it may very well be the DDR5 equivalent to DDR4s sweet spot of 3600 MT/s.
