XVX splashes into the TechPowerUp review database with its M84 Coral Sea theme keyboard. It adopts a custom aquatic design throughout and pairs it with two Gateron switch options, hybrid wireless connectivity, feature-rich software and hardware customization, and a price that is nearly the same as the employed 75% form factor!

Benchmark Scores bench...mark? i do leave mark on bench sometime, to remember which one is the most comfortable. :o
interesting design job ... quite like it.

it's basically the same as my 65% Deltaco DK440R (ISO CH layout) minus BT5.0 (wired and 2.4ghz on both), 150mAh on the battery but with hotswap switches, F keys and a convenient slot for the receiver added, roughly at the same price too ...
also almost the same chassis without raise feet (not the correct term iirc ) but if it's the same dimensions, it is perfectly adapted for typing on it and should be also perfectly aligned with any wristrest (like my Asus TKL i use which slightly too long obviously :D )

i would love to see that one with front engraved keycap which would enable for more surface on the top of the keycap to enhance further the theme used

Benchmark Scores I have wrestled bandwidths, Tussled with voltages, Handcuffed Overclocks, Thrown Gigahertz in Jail
saw the review thumbnail on the homepage and thought "aghh dont like the look of that"

clicked on the review and saw the large front image and for some weird reason thought "absolutely love it". Although i'm a boring bloke, the traditional all black and non-RGB but backlit mech keys is all i settle for.

I'm kind of the same the DK440R is all black, except i like RGB for being able to settle to one color i want (i.e.: all white like i use now) or key color coding to remember some shortcut in softwares and games sometime.

ah, i know why i like that design ... it remind me

The colors of the keycaps & the casing is really off. :wtf: That's no match.

However, the keycaps are quite nice. Bet they would make more money if they would sell the keycaps alone. They would look really good on a GMMK Pro with the white frame.

The company is monitoring the comments here so definitely provide all the feedback you can think of.

It's basically the same? As you list off a completely different keyboard, different layout, different connection, 65% vs 84%. You crack me up. Btw, the case sizes are different, your 65% doesn't have an f row.

You can get these keycaps separately. This keyboard company just made a case that matched an already popular keycaps set.

oh? you did read the part where i mentioned the difference? basically does not mean : the same

but glad i did crack you up ;)

also the XVX M84 is a 75% not a 84% (nitpicking don't mind me ;) )

nonetheless you are right anyway :D i correct the parts if i can.

Yeah. My bad, your 66ish keys vs it's 84 keys. Just woke up.

I just thought it was funny you said they were "basically the same" then listed off a long list of everything that makes them different. So they aren't basically the same.

I guess being an owner of serveral boutique keyboards I built/modded, all around the same size, I find them all completely different. Each has its own feel... experince. I'm not your typical user though, as Ill say two boards that look exactly the same are completely different if the PCB/mounting tray differ (ie gasket mount vs top mount.)

Would be nice to throw in a reaction time/ latency test in there. Alot of these boards look promising but I only trust Asus Falchion and Razer Blackwidow v3 mini for good wireless performance in gaming.

I've looked into this multiple times before but I don't have the resources for it unfortunately.

Hi,
Why two different windows keys
Left one is really weird looking.
There's only one Win key on the left, the one on the right is an Fn key. Both have novelty keycaps with designs that aim to fit the coral sea theme ongoing, although not very well admittedly.
