The Gigabyte UD750GM uses a better version of the platform used in the P750GM, with vastly improved protection features. Overall performance is also higher, but still needs more work to be competitive. A lower price might help since the Corsair RM750x—the king of this category—only costs $10 more.

I think vast majority of people are not like us, they don't really keep up with the industry news cycles of niche items like PSU's.

That's only way Gigabyte will sell items like this after their last PSU failure.

Well, its good to see GB is truly putting forth the effort and improving.
Yate loon are actually really good, cheap, fans that last forever. I've got some that are nearly 20yo (very likely older) that I beat the hell out of and they still work fine. Who takes care of a sub $5 fan after all.
Still doesn't change my mind about anything GB psu. Particularly MEIC built. There are way to many great options out there to even consider GB.

Like all these brands, they'd have a few halo products to get good reviews, then cheap stuff that hoped people remembered their name "gigabyte won OC world championship? good enough for me!"

Problem is that intead of Halo tier/midrange/budget shite, some companies are now doing budget shite/downright garbage/explodes on use

I don't often LOL at something, but you managed to make me giggle then. I think I'll stay away from Gigashite then.

I'm biased because my aorus 3080 was trash. Serious coil whine, an AIO with no pump control, fans with no stop at idle (and with a freaking AIO, it has the space to passively cool at idle!) and then uh, it leaked coolant everywhere. Investigating that showed that it had no real VRAM cooling, since the AIO wasnt connected to those heatsinks at all and it just... was bad.

My gigabyte monitor is physically great, but it's software is trash - it forcibly installed RGB software for some random NVME drives that is causing BSOD issues for people... and yet i love my AX370 from a few years back before they lost their minds.

So, I shall emphasise, NO GIGABYTE. Maybe they'll get annoyed with all the bad press and start doing things right again? Or they'll continue down this dark path and be known as, quite simply, shit!

Monitors are next on my path of upgrades and nothing of there's was even eye-catching for me. Or good value. Or recommended. Oh dear.

This model was advertised as being $130 USD. A month later I bought one for $77 USD on sale. Great deal for $77! Solid PSU.

BTW only 140mm deep, it is impossible to find as good a PSU as this one with a 140mm depth.

My new fractal PSU is only 140mm, its an 860W (960W peak) platinum PSU. Silverstone also have some cheap 140mm platinum PSU's, although they're a lot louder.
