Cougar on Tuesday introduced the AirBlader Tournament gaming mouse. It retains the essential design of the original AirBlader from 2021, but doubles down on its hardware specs. The AirBlader design involves high-end hardware crammed into a large profile that sheds plastic where not needed, to reduce weight. The new AirBlader Tournament packs a 20,000 dpi PAW 3399 sensor, compared to the 16,000 dpi PAW 3389 of the original AirBlader, with 600 IPS compared to the original's 450. There are also some physical updates: It relocates the dpi adjustments button to the bottom-side to prevent misclicks, the main buttoms feature a more durable switch capable of taking 80 million clicks compared to the original's 50 million; and the mouse's side surfaces are laced with grip-tape. The mouse measures 117 mm x 62.8 mm x 37.8 mm, weighing 62 g. The company didn't reveal pricing.
