The Phanteks Eclipse G500A Performance really is true to its name with excellent thermal and noise results, wrapped beautifully in a functional body. This is thanks to the four retail M25-140 fans, while still allowing for massive liquid cooling builds or up to 19 hard drives to fit within.

Are those 140mm fans bundled with case or just 120mm(non RGB) fans going to be bundled by default?

Excellent review! As soon as I read about the case on TPU only a couple days ago, I immediately became interested in the newer G500. I owned a P500A for a bit (and year, give or take) and while I liked it, the biggest gripe I had with it was the solid side panel and the use of thumbscrews. It was the biggest pain in the ass to reattach properly and I absolutely dreaded having to open my rig up because I was certain the side panel was going to give me problems when it came to having to put it back on. I'm so @$#king happy to see not only did Phanteks make both side panels hinged (like on the Evolv X and P600) but they also included the Evolv X's cable cover panels!

This case looks like an absolute winner for me!

With the case, Phanteks has also sent us a 3-pack of their M25 series fans in the 140 mm size.
This sentence on 3rd page adds to confusion as to if customers buying the case("performance edition") will be getting 140mm fans(non RGB) or 120mm(non RGB) fans while reviewers got 140mm fans along with case.

Wow, this case offers better gaming temps and runs quiter then Lancool 216, which uses 2x 160mm fans. I'm truly surprised that 3x 140mm is a better solution. I guess it's all about fan quality, right? Lancool 216 has 2x 140mm right under GPU although it's temp stays lower on G500A.. That's.. weird.

You may pull the panel off to reveal the three pre-installed 140 mm M25-140 fans set to pull air in through the front.

Still trying to work out the difference between the G500A and P500A?

The older P500A was dual system compatible, the G500A isn't. The older P500 lacked hinges on the solid side panel and relied on captive thumbscrews, the G500 now has hinges on both side panels. The P500A lacked side panel cable covers (found on the Evolv X), the G500 has them.

I'm sure others can add more here.

Ah got you. I have a P500A and like the case, and am building another system in a few months, so might go with the G500A then.

I kinda wish case reviews included max radiator depth for compatibility and max size rads for using two radiators at once

would it be even better w/ the T30 fans that got such a glowing review? This looks promising from both noise and cooling perspectives, but I'm fine w/ spending a bit to do better on those fronts. I've got an old 4790k/RTX2070 in a Fractal Define R5 w/ all Noctua fans that needs to be replaced, but noise is a priority (obviously, from that dated example) (I assume I'll go 13700k or similar, and a similar level gpu).

It would seem that Phanteks is on the same drug as Corsair because $200+ Canadian for a case like this is the same as the 5000D Airflow and even those are great cases there are examples from Deepcool and Antec that are much better value.

Bought this one for my PC. Found major issue with front fans. They produce humming noise at certain rpm.
Stock fans are terrible starting at 500 rpm. Replaced them with Arctic F14 mounted with Noctua rubber pins, and still hear the noise at 500.
The hum seems to be gone at 600+ (stock ones remain humming at 500+).
So it's not the fans but case itself. Depending on the fans model and rpm it produces this hum.
Not a good for the case of that price.
