ENERMAX, an industry-leading force dedicated to designing extreme performance computer power supplies and cooling solutions, releases its upgraded fully-modular 80 PLUS Gold certified power supply - the REVOLUTION D.F. 2 series! REVOLUTION D.F. 2 is designed with 105°C rated Japanese electrolytic capacitors, 140 mm compact chassis in-depth, semi-fanless mechanics, DC-to-DC conversion, the advanced LLC, Synchronous Rectifier (SR) design, and patented Dust-Free Rotation (DFR) technology.

Following the success of the REVOLUTION D.F. series, the REVOLUTION D.F. 2 inherits ENERMAX's iconic Dust Free Rotation (D.F.R.) technology and semi-fanless mechanics. The Dust Free Rotation (D.F.R.) technology is an innovative self-cleaning solution which enables the power fan to blow away the dust accumulate around the fan blade and frame within 10 sec. upon powering on to increase airflow inside the power supply unit.

The upgraded circuit design of the REVOLUTION D.F. 2 series allows its peak power wattage output to reach 200%, which means the 850 W model of REVOLUTION D.F. 2 can stably provide 1700 W for 100µs (microsecond) to support instantly power excursion.

The semi-fanless mechanics enables the PSU fan to be static while the system load is under 20% to provide users with absolutes silence of 0 dB(A). The quiet Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) fan also ensures excellent cooling performance with minimized noise and vibration.

The 850 W model of REVOLUTION D.F. 2 power supply is available immediately at the ENERMAX USA online store, Amazon, Newegg and the ENERMAX worldwide authorized retailers and distributors. The availability of the 1050 W and 1200 W models will be announced shortly. All models are protected by a 7-year warranty in North America.

The point is....not everyone is running a 3090 and/or 40 series Nvidia GPUs
12VHPWR is in the PCIE5 spec, all PCIE5 GPUs would eventually start using it. This is a new ATX 3.0 PSU, not a particularly budget one at that, without said cable included or even 12VHPWR port on the PSU itself to alternatively use third-party 1-to-1 cables, when Enermax doesn't even sell said cable separately (yet). Just looks like a half-assed attempt to out an ATX 3.0 model just for the sake of it.
