Nah, it's in line with Asus' blade-themed naming.

This is a "harpe."

"Ace" in this context is just some gamer marketing fluff.

"Aim Lab" is something you can download on Steam to practice aiming.

If it were up to me though, I'd fluff up the gamer words more. Harpe Ace Gaming XX RGB Rapid Aim Lab Edition Pro

Yes, it's pricey for sure - and not to mention the Armoury Crate debacle.
I would say it's a must-buy if it's around 100-120 USD (as I got mine through a local sales event for like ~110 USD).

Are the switches replacable? No matter my thoughts about this brand, their mice with user replacable switches were rare peripheral worth spending extra on just for that single feature alone.

Replaceable yes (requires soldering), hot-swappable no.

So worse than their other mice with hot-swappable switches(perfect solution to double clicking switches and extending life of otherwise working peripheral).

Armoury Crate getting a thumbs down is spot on.

I got it installed once because it was activated in the BIOS with my AMD disaster build, i had to reinstall the entire OS as this Asus malware couldn't be properly removed.

Asus are currently running a cashback promo in the UK. I got mine under £100 after cashback which is pretty nice considering the quality of the mouse.

Including BT was a really nice touch and that was what swang it for me. Apart from the quality of the side buttons I am extremely happy. This mouse is such a joy to use.

Armoury Crate no thanks. I like the battery life but I could get a KB and M from Logitech for that money. That has better battery life.
