Jelly Key is back at it with another artisan keycap group buy. Today we examine a space bar keycap in the unique "Droplet" profile from its Immense Ocean series – Coral Odyssey collection that uses a novel transparent layer technology for more vibrant colors, more individual elements than before, and even glow-in-the-dark paint.

I dont mind stuff like that, but that rounded top of it, I mean i guess its fine but im not sure how that would feel if every key is like that.

These come in other keycap profiles too, this is just the best one in my opinion to appreciate the design. Typing on the droplet profile might take some practice on 1u keycaps, hard to say since I don't have any shorter ones here, but the 2.25u and space bar keycaps on this profile are fine because the actual top surface is flat enough to type.

This space bar is simply beautiful. I'd say this is their best work yet. Looking at the images in the mini-review, I was damn near tempted to actually purchase this specific space bar but...I just can't justify dropping $100 on a space bar, no matter how pretty it is. I do think the asking price is justified though, because it really is a small work of art.

My thoughts exactly. Very nice looking but hard to justify in the current economic environment.

Here's the photo of the keycap glowing in the dark, it's slightly blurred so I didn't add it in the article but might be relevant to the readers here anyway:

I'm going to buy the spacebar even though it doesn't fit my current keyboard  .

That's killer. The reefs not really my thing. I mean if I were going to do it, I would have to go all in and that's friggin pricey. Justifiably so. Each key must log an immense amount of time to create.
Altho, when you ponder the possibilities...woohoo! It's simply amazing! They're going to create some incredible stuff going forward. I can't wait to see what comes next!

I gotta say the ocean-themed keys just...click with me. I am not a target audience and I have been checking the reviews of this type of keys here, but this set really stand out IMO.

Style ain't cheap.

Most expensive piece of resin I've bought (not into miniatures).

And now we wait, have to settle on a new keyboard option too...
