After a longer hiatus, Mountain returns with the right-handed ergonomic Makalu Max, which has the same base shape as the Makalu 67, but can be customized further both in terms of shape and weight. The Makalu Max comes with PixArt's PAW3370 sensor, Kailh GM 8.0 main button switches, eight freely programmable buttons, and up to 80 hours of battery life.
