I think all looks fine, FSR is a tad more shimmery and noisy but I feel also a tad more defined looking at times, but also a tad more vague at others....
and it still has that occlusion issue, not terrible, but not as good.

But all in all both fine options for what they need to do to my eyes.

DLSS and FSR both looking nice. Can we get an additional comparison in the future for DLSS/FSR/XESS against internal resolution as well, e.g. DLSS 4K Quality vs 1440P Native? It would be nice to directly see how much better these scalers work.

DLSS anti Aliasing seems to struggle massivley with thin lines which FSR does not

Yet FSR struggles more with moving objects as noticed by shimmering/artifacts.

Now if we can get the best of BOTH worlds it would be nice!

I don't see any meaningful difference.
Yes some cables, some leaves etc. are better/worse when you compare them directly but let's be honest.
There's no way to see that level of difference even on side by side monitors but only on still pics.

From what I can see from zooming in, FSR is the winner here. Better image quality.

Take that spaceship flying in the background just above the mountains. When you zoom in, the number 35 is clearer in fsr than dlss especially in 2k.

This is my take on the situation, but yes other than zooming in they are pretty similar but none the less the better image quality still remains.

Disagree, tried both too and it's apparent without stopping and pixel peeping that they're a very different execution. DLSS only seems to stumble with the power lines which don't get me wrong I don't like at all, but has great detail, and a very stable and nice AA resolve, the best AA in the business even. with FSR the issues noted grab my eyes very easily and are a constant distraction, but shimmering is an eye grabber for me. It is however a very competent showing and I can imagine people who can't use DLSS to see the difference will be satisfied with the solution.

This will all vary from person to person what artefacts might be more or less annoying or distracting to each individual, but to my eyes and my taste it's easy to give DLSS the nod here, slightly higher performance, and overall a more stable and better Anti Aliased image.

So let me get this right. At all resolutions quality preset gives higher frame rates for both DLSS and FSR than balanced preset. WTaF!

What's wierd, is that it is FSR that is doing a better job with thin power line across top of screen than DLSS, normally it's the other way around. Still these static tests don't show texture shimmering issues which plague FSR in a lot of games and how poorly it deals with transparency especially at lower than 4K

FSR is in general inferior to DLSS in terms of image quality but I played Atomic Heart a bit on the RX 6800 XT with FSR enabled and in my opinion it's ok in this game. Surely DLSS is better but FSR still gives higher image quality than Unreal's TAAU Gen5 which I tried before. And shimmering happens even with DLSS in some places.

Do I see correct that the 1080p native is faster than FSR and DLSS? :D

CPU bottleneck is causing that.
