FiiO aims to take on the crowded TWS earphones market with its FW3 and FW5 wireless IEMs. These utilize a premium audio design with larger dynamic drivers and even Knowles BA drivers in addition to independent AKM DACs in a compelling form factor with physical buttons for a rich user experience.

They look nice, less flashy than most reviewed.

Off topic but just curious, why did I see this review alert twice?

Twitter's API is broken, so I submitted it twice, hoping it would go through

Thanks for the review. Is there a way that I can filter past reviews by review rating and pricing?

It would be interesting to have an article along the lines of 'TPU recommended IEMs for 2023', split by budget (so for $50 these models, $100-150, $150-250, $500+ and so on). Doesn't even have to be one model per bracket, instead 3-4 choices shortly highlighting pros and cons of each (and then link to the individual reviews in case there's an interest to read further). This could potentially increase traffic to TPU, since there are a lot of normies out there who might just google 'best IEMs 2023 for 100$' without much of a clue what makes a good IEM great.

There is no review rating on TechPowerUp any more, we used to do a points system but realized a few years ago that was futile. IEM pricing is so fluctating that things would be hard to do on that end too. I know what you mean though but really the audio reviews are not getting much money into the system, if at all, so this is not a priority for the website at the moment unfortunately.

Not a fan of true wireless but these seem really impressive for the price. Top tier components, large feature set and Snapdragon certification for a reasonable price will always get an OK from me. :)

@VSG Another great review. I missed this one when it first came out, so re-visiting it now.

While I like the convenience of wireless, in practice I forget to charge or lose one of the ear pieces. I've finally gone back to wired IEM's and noticed that my cat decided to use my KZ ZAX as a chew toy.

This leaves me without a set of IEM's, so I need a recommendation please. :) Your thoughts on a decent set under $100 and a set under $50 based on recent testing.... Not bass heavy.

Any particular reason for two sets? I'd say Tripowin Olina SE on the next sale will be a good bet: https://www.techpowerup.com/review/quick-look-tripowin-x-hbb-olina-se-in-ear-monitors/

No particular reason. I'd just like an option to pay less if I can as I have a tendency to break or lose my IEM's... :D
The Olina SE has metal shells too, should be fine. If you are in a humid place there is a possibility the filters in the nozzle can get clogged up over time though, not sure if they've addressed this or sell replacement filters.
