VGN is a domestic Chinese brand, and has a highly appealing budget option in store: Coming with PixArt's PAW3395 sensor, Kailh GM 8.0 main button switches, and up to 130 hours of battery life, the 55 g Dragonfly F1 Pro Max is also compatible with true 4000 Hz wireless polling.

I hope we see more budget Chinese competitors in the ultralight space. The bigger peripheral companies got lost in the sauce with their price gouging.

After my third G703 started double-clicking (over 4 years) I decided to look elsewhere. and honestly the day i searched i found the VGN post on /r/mousereview.

I brought it immediately and considering how "cheap" it was I bought 2, the regular F1 Pro and the Max. took 2 months to deliver but goddamn worth the wait.

It was my first time into a cheap mouse and it absolutely delivered, better than a mouse 4 times its price, only reliability remains to be seen which i hope is good.

Thanks for the review - hopefully this copy/paste iterative improvement will finally bring good quality wireless to the masses.

PS - can you please turn down the Boca effect when taking pics of the internals and the PCB. That is one time it doesn't prove beneficial since it blurs out all the cool details people want to see when modding.

waiting for MOBA version to arrive, imo 4k is just pointless unless you're extremely competitive and even then...

this is literally the best mouse of the market for a general consumer looking for a neutral viper/superlight mouse

there is no reason at all to purchase any other brand or mice, it's insane what they have done and the price.

Logitech and razer will continue to sell because branding, but other than that, anyone who spend 5 minutes researching before making a purchase, will end with this one

Interesting perspective. Saying that it of good quality is a reasonable statement. Calling it "literally the best mouse of the market" is bold enough to be silly as that perspective is very subjective.

Claiming something is of good quality and fits a certain purpose well is very different from claiming it's the best. Many companies make that claim, very few actually deliver it.

for a general consumer looking for a neutral mice, it is the best, 4k polling, 0 deviation, good switches, low latency for 60€?

what would you made recommend to the average consumer looking for a gaming mouse, a viper of 150? a gpx of the same price?

this mouse is a no brainer for the average gamer, can get top specs for almost a third of the price of the top brands, smokes everything else in bang for buck

If you are a power user and want other things, that's ok, doesn't apply, but for joe, who just wants a gaming mouse and was a click lenght to purchase a gpx for 150e? this is it for that kind of consumer.

My point was that you are making assumptions that are not your right to make and making claims that have no merit.

Thank You for proving my point.

More blanket assumptions about a market audience that likely have little or no merit.

Nowadays Razer and Logitech with their inflated prices are only hyping youtubers and pro players (sponsored btw). At least Razer comes up with that polling rate marketing and evolution (also with no use to normal people, not even pro players feel the difference between 1k-2k to 8k PR. If someone says that they do, it's most likely placebo). They're getting smashed by chinese mice, that are recently coming up with optical switches as well, besides the PR.
