ASRock's Radeon RX 7800 XT Phantom Gaming is a factory overclocked custom-design model. Thanks to its large triple-slot, triple-fan cooling solution, temperatures and noise levels are excellent, and performance is higher than GeForce RTX 4070, at a much lower price point.

Hello,

I got this GPU and I get shown another temp-reading, "Mem". I think in Windows it reads "Memory junction", I'm using linux. While junction and edge are usually rather low, memory is, right now, just watching a video, at 68°C. And that's normal for that sensor, while gaming it really goes up.

Is that normal in general? Or are the pads on the card maybe not correctly positioned?

Thanks

Well... Junctions rises to 100°C while gaming, which aint good.

So I'm considering replacing pads and paste. Have you, by chance, measured the width of the pads applied? Or does anyone else know?
