Positioned as the sleeker option in the Ceres series, the Ceres 300 TG ARGB retains the signature 90° expansion slot rotation and the possibility to attach a display on the chassis side. Thermaltake also carefully modified certain aspects to meet the lower price point.

@Darksaber, according to TT only a 360 rad in the front, not in the top.

I really like this case and would buy it in an instant if it wasn't for those randomly blocked ventilation holes. They drive me crazy just looking at them.

Not really a con but lack of conventional HDD cage or even option to install HDD in basement is quite a big con.
We been moving away from HDDs for quite a while, no surprise that case manufacturers are no longer including that.

For game storage it's good.

For game storage it's good.
But with the 2 & 4 TB SSD's having reasonable prices nowadays it is not necessary to still use HDD's, unless of course you have a shitload of games eating away storage space. Then you still have a USB 3.2 connection for external storage.

For example I have a 1TB NVMe SSD as bootdisk and two 2TB NVMe SSD's for storage, al three of them convinient located on the MB.

So not taking space and most of all no extra cables inside the case.
In small builds that is ideal, especially when you have a fully modular PSU.

But of course you have to plan this before starting to build in a small case. So I think TT made a good choice by omitting the HHD cage(s) in this CERES 300 TG ARGB.

My case a Thermaltake Commander C32 it's a solid case with good front-back airflow (if top side is obturated). The case fans included are junk, all died in 2 months max. Same with Thermaltake Toughpower PSU, the 140mm fan started to make wierd noises after just 1 month. Replaced all with Noctua's and no issues since.

Eh nah.
Most people nowadays either don't have HDD's or use USB storage and/or NAS storage for their HDDs.

The majority of people who actually have HDD's in their case from what I've seen are people that have prebuilds that had them in them when they bought them.
TT isn't aiming at selling this case to that segment of the market.

As Noki mentioned most don't really bother with HDDs in their PC anymore, and for that reason I agree with him.
Why include something that the vast majority would find pointless?

That said, I do believe that at least offering a cage to buy later is good practice, but TT apparently has done some market analysis and decided that's not worth the cost. Shrug.
