Sharkoon Technologies is an international supplier of high-performance, high-quality PC components and peripherals. Sharkoon is again widening its range of keyboards and introducing a new mechanical gaming keyboard, this time with a full three-block layout within a tidy, elemental design. The SKILLER SGK20 presents itself with a rimless look and a practical cable channel in its underside, while the RGB illumination can be fully customized through the downloadable software. Two versions of the keyboard are available with either red or brown switches from Huano.

Trim and Tidy
Unlike the last keyboards that Sharkoon launched onto market, the SKILLER SGK20 has a full 3-block layout with 105 keys. The keyboard has, however, an extra slim design and an almost rimless look and should therefore be able to blend into any kind of setup. The trim appearance is complemented by a cable channel in the underside of the keyboard, which allows an orderly and interference-free positioning of the textile-braided cable.

Two Versions with Red or Brown Switches
Technically, the SKILLER SGK20 should score points thanks to its polling rate of 1,000 Hertz together with the mechanical switches from Huano. For frequent gamers, the red switches should be particularly suitable due to their linear properties for resistance-free use without clicking noises. Frequent typists and occasional gamers, on the other hand, can choose the version that is equipped with the tactile brown switches, which have a perceptible actuation point. According to the manufacturer, the operating life cycle of both kinds of switch is 20 million keystrokes.

Extensive RGB illumination and Software
The SKILLER SGK20's full range of functions are available via the downloadable gaming software. With this, the keyboard's RGB illumination can be personalized according to color, intensity, or brightness, or by choosing one if the 18 pre-programmed lighting effects. The chosen customization can then be saved in different lighting profiles. The personal settings of all the other options that can be found in the gaming software, including recorded macros, can be bundled into one of up to 20 game profiles. With just a few clicks, a profile can then be selected to suit the game, genre or work application.

Price and Availability
The Sharkoon SKILLER SGK20 is now available at the manufacturer's suggested price of 39.90 euros.

So much wasted room that could be used for dedicated media keys on top of the numpad.
