The Fifine AmpliGame AM8 is a budget dynamic microphone with USB and XLR connectivity. It comes with a practical table stand and has all the bells and whistles you could desire from a $50 microphone – and more!

One of my students uses this particular Fifine (I can tell from that RGB lightbar, but it may be a different model lol) in Teams and it does provide clean speech from her end. The thing is you can still hear background noise come through (like her fan on louver), despite having the pop filter on.

Pop filters don't do anything for background noise. That depends upon pickup pattern and noise cancellation or filtering.

Kinda ridiculous that this $50 mic has XLR while the >$100 Blue Yeti doesn't.

Pleasantly surprised by this review. Aaand as a bonus you can get it from Aliexpress as well. With their "back Friday" on 11.11 you may be able to shave off a few more bucks of it. I have a much cheaper mic than this one, but I find the mic in Logitech Brio/C920/B910 is good enough for me.
