CORSAIR's iCUE Link QX120 RGB fans are unlike anything else on the market. Each fan uses a USB bus-based connection to have easy grouping and cable-less connections, sports 34 RGB LEDs with novel lighting effects, and even has a temperature sensor for extensive fan control using iCUE software.

You're too kind.

I may sound repetitive, but this is an LED with a fan attached to it.

Why the stupid proprietary connectors FFS??!!!

(of course, that's a rhetorical question, heavily-laced with sarcasm for good measure)

Kindly, f*** off, Corsair.

At $50 US a fan there is no way I can bring myself to buy one. Just what you have on display is $300 for 6 fans. I know Corsair have been drinking the same koolaid as EK but really?

I had only bought these, because the are no other fans that match the spec ratings on Corsairs own H150i Capellix fans.
That was this 500rp,-2,400rpm 3.00-4.0mm static pressure & PWM. Corsair purposely made it impossible to get the same fans for the AIO cooler t,hey don't sell them separately unless you get them from E-bay here in the U.S.A

3000rpm ippc noctua fans will do that and more for cheaper. 6yr warranty instead of 5yr too. AIOs seem like a bad fashion statement at this point..

why would I do that when I only needed 3 fans with RGB & not six without RGB?
That would make them cost even more they're $30 a piece.

Thr BeQuiet Light Wings High Speed fans, addressable RGB, 2500RPMs...PC fans has got to be the MOST over saturated market in the DIY PC space, so finding an RGB fan that meets the required specs is not difficult, I absolutely guarantee there are several non-Corsair fans that meet your requirements

Sheeeez, outfitting my MO-RA 360 with these would cost me €450 o_0 But it would look pretty epic if you like RGB I guess.

The propietary fan connector trend needs to die though.

You can get top-tier fans for $25 or so. I rarely buy those fans because their value is already well beyond the point of diminishing returns at those prices. Is the Phanteks T30 or NH-A12X25 really worth twice as much as an Arctic P12 Max when they're no more than 10% better and sometimes within margin of error. Even the P12 Max isn't great value compared to the regular P12, but it's there if you need the higher RPM.

So these corsair fans DON'T outperform a P12 Max by any significant measure, but they're 3x the price, for what - twinkly lights? Even for someone who likes twinkly lights, that's damn expensive.

I have push pull on my H150i
I already had 3 fan the radiator. I was trying to match spec to the fans that where already on it, I explained why it's not possible to match them exactly in my one of my earlier posts.

LOL, why would you put RGBLED lights on both sides of a push-pull? I mean you *can*, but only one side is going to be visible unless you're some kind of heathen who runs their case without filters. As for matching specs, don't bother if they're on different sides of a radiator. You have ~20% variance between two identical fans in identical situations, just based on the +/- 10% spec fans are made to. The difference between fans that have radiator/unrestricted vs case panel+filter/radiator is even larger. There's no point matching fans from an airflow perspective. The sole reason to do it is If you have money to burn and want aesthetic consistency at the cost of performance.

You can buy a white triple fan pack for $95 on Amazon for the exact same fans used on your AIO. Or $65 for black instead of white. Corsair ML 120mm. Corsair does sell them. Not impossible.

If you have a glass panel in front of your fans, performance considerations are off the table.
Yknow my favorite thing about RGB and glass panels is that it's not my monitor. I look at my monitor not my case.
Tbf they said side panel.

They are not the same fans those are slower fans. They max out at 2,000 rpm +/-10% The one that come with the H150i max out a 2,400 rpm & have a totally different Static pressure rating.

Made a 10-fans build with these and I love them. Yes they were expensive but I accepted to pay a premium to have less cable madness and a unified system for all my fans and AIO fans.

My CPU never goes above 57-60 degrees (7800X3D) and my GPU remains at a healthy 55-65 (XFX 7900XTX)

Wrong again. Have you heard about "gaps"? Cases like the TT View 71 have big gaps between glass and chassis to allow excellent airflow.
You may want to walk away now and avoid more embarrassment

That's an exception to the rule and far from the most common situation for glass-fronted cases. There are always exceptions because nobody is actually making rules, we can only generalise.

Your system specs say you're using a Corsair 7000D Airflow, so it's a moot point for you.

As for embarassment, what are you talking about? I'm presenting valid perspectives and if you think this simple discussion is an argument then you appear to have the wrong end of the stick, and I'd question why you're being so defensive to think that in the first place.

Overpriced and under performing.... Meh. It may be quiet, but the airflow through a rad shows that this is nothing more than a case fan.

I just picked up a pair of Arctic P12 Max fans and they have been much better than expected for $9 US each.... I'd love to see a real review of these fans.
