I was thinking the same thing. its also a super entry level design, only whats nessary, 1 pcie 16, 2 sticks of ram

I don't know if you've ever needed to find a new motherboard for an EOL chip, but it usually sucks. CPUs are basically immortal when not mistreated, but MBs are extremely fragile by comparison. I've more than once been in the situation where I'd gladly buy a new, bare-bones, several-gen-old board to keep an otherwise perfectly usable system running, but one is generally forced to buy used or NOS parts. Prices tend to be high because of 1) ye olde supply-demand curve and 2) the tendency of sellers to only bother with higher-end boards (in the case of used). You can get past all this with patience and/or luck, but I'd rather be able to just go to a retailer and buy a cheap board.

Ah yea, i nearly forgot about that lol. Just a shame that the vrms don't look powerful for anything over an i5. If it did i'd probably buy the mobo lol.
