GIGABYTE revealed its GeForce RTX 40 SUPER graphics card range earlier this week, and TPU staff in attendance at CES 2024 were most pleased to see some of these models on display at the manufacturer's Las Vegas Convention Center booth. The existing EAGLE OC shroud design was the first to attract our photographer's attention—it has been reused to house and temper NVIDIA's latest GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER 16 GB GPU.
The futuristic aesthetic—comprised of cosmic-themed graphics, symbols, and geometric shapes—and protective metal backplate encase GIGABYTE's WINDFORCE cooling system. We see three (alternate spinning) 80 mm unique blade fans, along with eight composite copper heat pipes, and a copper plate directly touching the GPU. The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER EAGLE OC 16G has an integrated RGB lighting system.
TPU staff had some quality time to analyze the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER EAGLE OC 16G graphics card from all sorts of angles—as expected we see the single 16-pin power connector, plus the always nice-to-have Dual BIOS switch. The factory default is OC mode, while the silent option presents a quieter cooling experience.
The SUPER EAGLE's immediate neighbor was GIGABYTE's GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER GAMING OC 16G model.
Much like the rest of GIGABYTE's GeForce RTX 40 Series, the WINDFORCE cooling system is present on here. The GAMING series of graphics card has also adopted the RGB Halo system from GIGABYTE's AORUS range.
The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER GAMING OC 16G card also sports the handy Dual BIOS switch for OC or silent operation modes.
