YEYIAN is an up and coming gaming lifestyle brand that's spreading to new markets around the globe. The company made its CES debut this year with a host of new gaming peripherals and PC hardware. We begin our coverage with their peripherals. We first went hands on with an interesting new 65% format keyboard called simply the "Ultra Compact Transparent Keyboard." Nearly all its body panels of this wireless keyboard is transparent, letting you see the PCB underneath holding all the user-replaceable key switches. The keyboard gives you the option of a low-latency 2.4 GHz RF, and Bluetooth. In Bluetooth mode, the keyboard supports 3 simultaneous channels. It uses a rechargeable battery that can fast-charge in a hour, providing up to 10 days of stand-by time.

The next keyboard is more premium, and wired. It's called the "Mechanical Keyboard_Cherry Switch." It's probable that YEYIAN will come up with new names for these keyboards that are easier to recall. The wired keyboard comes in a 75% (82-key) format in a compact body size. The start attraction here is its latest generation CHERRY MX2A switches, which are pre-lubricated. YEYIAN has opted for the MX2A Speed Silver switch with integrated RGB lighting. Next up, are two ultra lightweight wireless mice, the YEYIAN Drift and YEYIAN Dominate.

The Drift weighs just 52 g, but packs a powerful PixArt 3395 26,000 dpi sensor; with electronics that support 8000 Hz polling rate with 0.125 ms latency in wired mode; and 4000 Hz polling rate with 0.25 ms latency in wireless mode. The Dominate is physically larger, but comes with a magnesium alloy body, and weighs 58 g. Its sensor and connectivity specs are the same as the Drift.

Lastly, YEYIAN brought out its two main mousepad models, the Gamepad CD, and Gamepad FG. The Gamepad CD is a cloth based surface that uses proprietary CORDURA fabric that's scratch- and water resistant, hence the name "CD." The surface is 4 mm thick, and its CORDURA lends waterproofing and anti-fouling properties. The underside is a high-grade anti-skid rubber. The Gamepad FG gets its name from being a fiberglass based mousepad, and is designed for maximum speed. Its material makes it naturally resistant to water and fouling.
