Jelly Key's latest artisan keycap group buy brings us back to the zen pond but now the Koi fish have learnt to break out of the water. These new keycaps use larger, more detailed fish models that are no longer fully encased in resin and end up looking more alive than ever before.

Wooting 60 HE+ module with screw in stabilisers, Lekker L60 switches I hand lubed, CNC aluminium burgundy red Tofu 60 Redux case with brass weight, silicone dampening and polycarb plate, stronger springs for the weight of the jellykey space bar. Taped and burgermodded the PCB. Hall effect magnetic switches so smoother compared to the optomechanical Razer ones I came from.
Turbulent Labs leather/suede wrist rest.
Steelseries prismcaps pudding white PBT.

Old 60HE with plastic case is going to a friend.
They can have the blue silicone Wooting wrist rest too which I don't like.

I clicked the review thumbnail from the homepage without a clue what the review would be about. ("Keycaps" from the title is cut off, and the photo looked a bit like a custom IEM.) And I was ready to scoff at this product but yeah, it really does look nice. Probably not something I'd buy for myself (I don't value the ornate packaging) but maybe as a gift.

It's the perfect desk decoration because it doesn't take up any additional space on your desk!

"Jelly Key Zen" reminds me of Jim Keller, designer of Zen architecture for AMD.
