Cooler Master joins the rapidly growing OLED gaming monitor market with a 27-inch 240 Hz QHD model that goes directly against several established competitors. Does Cooler Master have a twist on the familiar formula that would make it stand out?

Nice. Looking forward to more OLED monitor reviews!

I notice that you spent half a page on mentions of oled protective measures. RTings discovered recently that different brands have wildly varying implementations of stuff like a pixel refresher. In some cases its very odd in how when and even IF it works. It might be nice to test whether the advertised options actually do their work at the specified intervals.

Maybe interesting if it's significantly cheaper than competitors, but considering it's not even the cheapest offering but is arguably the worst this monitor is a fail.
CM is still not doing so hot with their monitors...

Its far cheaper to replace broken power bricks compared to internal power supply.
Never had a broken power supply in a monitor.

My current monitor is 12 years old and still going. Then again it's an EIZO.

I had Viewsonic VX2235WM which had its internal power supply fail(6-7 years into ownership) and trying to source replacement unit was a pain in rearside(having to buy them through unknown seller on ebay and then deal with customs department when shipment landed on Indian coast) compared to the power bricks that came with LG monitors which are super easy to source and cheap(many local shops here carry 3rd party adaptors for monitors).

Almost 15 years ago, I got my first corporate IT gig. It was troubleshooting some expensive industrial LCD touch panels. The internal power supplies went bad on them, luckily they were overbuilt industrial units. They had a DC input jack for an alternative power source. They just added a cheap external 12V power brick, and ran them several more years. A $10 a piece fix, versus over $800 each to outright replace them.

Is there anyway you could start including the minimum brightness spec of the monitors you review? As a chronic migraine sufferer it would be immensely helpful.
