ASRock Rack Inc., a leading innovative server company, is announcing its 6U8X-EGS2 series at booth 1617 during the NVIDIA GTC global AI conference in San Jose, USA. The 6U8X-EGS2 NVIDIA H100 and 6U8X-EGS2 NVIDIA H200 are ASRock Rack's most powerful AI training systems, capable of accommodating NVIDIA HGX H200 8-GPUs. The 6U rack mounts are able of providing airflow for the highest CPU and GPU performance. In addition to the eight-way configuration, the 6U8X-EGS2 series offers 12 PCIe Gen 5 NVMe drive bays and multiple PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, as well as a 4+4 PSU for full redundancy.
ASRock Rack is also developing servers that support the new NVIDIA HGX B200 8-GPU to handle the most demanding generative AI applications, accelerate large language models, and cater to data analytics and high-performance computing workloads. "At GTC, NVIDIA announced its new NVIDIA Blackwell platform, and we are glad to contribute to the new era of computing by providing a wide range of server hardware products that will support it," said Hunter Chen, Vice President at ASRock Rack. "Our products provide organizations with the foundation to transform their businesses and leverage the advancements of accelerated computing."
Visitors can also see the 4UMGX dual-socket barebone server that supports up to eight NVIDIA H100 NVL or H200 GPUs plus six NVIDIA BlueField-3 DPUs or NVIDIA ConnectX-7 NICs, all in a 4U rackmount form factor. The 4UMGX server will also be able to host NVIDIA Blackwell architecture-powered GPUs that were announced today by NVIDIA.
The 4UMGX server uses the NVIDIA MGX modular reference design. This enables OEM and ODM partners to create customized solutions for various use cases while saving development resources and reducing time to market.
ASRock Rack has several servers lined up that support the NVIDIA H100 NVL and NVIDIA H200 NVL, such as the 4U8G-EGS2, 4U10G-GENOA2, 4U10G-EGS2, and the 4U8G-GENOA2. These servers will also be updated soon to support the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture. ASRock Rack will offer extended SKU options once the NVIDIA Blackwell-powered GPUs become available for sale.
For the upcoming NVIDIA GB200 Grace Blackwell Superchip, ASRock Rack is also preparing to introduce a NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 solution. This rack will function as a single, massive accelerator, delivering 45X faster real-time trillion-parameter LLM inference for applications in electronic design automation, computer-aided drug design, and quantum computing.
ASRock Rack will also show the MECAI-GH200 for the NVIDIA GH200 Grace Hopper Superchip. This 2U MGX server currently stands as the most compact platform supporting the NVIDIA GH200 Grace Hopper Superchip. Its compact design positions the MECAI-GH200 as an ideal solution for edge AI applications, such as transforming radio access networks (RAN) for 5G and anticipated 6G technologies.
The MECAI-GH200 now comes in an even smaller form factor, as ASRock Rack has reduced the depth to 420 mm to fit edge AI cabinets. Additionally, the PCIe add-in card slot now supports NVIDIA BlueField-3 and NVIDIA ConnectX-7 networking. These updates suit deployments in constrained spaces with high demands on connectivity, such as the edge of telco networks. "We highly appreciate the efforts of members of the AI-RAN Alliance in advancing RAN technologies and mobile networks through AI," said Hunter Chen, Vice President at ASRock Rack. "These efforts will aid organizations in achieving new levels of efficiency across the industry."
The ASRock Rack team looks forward to welcoming GTC attendees at booth 1617. NVIDIA GTC is a global AI conference for developers and takes place at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, USA, from March 18-21.
