With the Y70, HYTE introduces its largest chassis, offering enhanced space and further refinements compared to the Y40 and Y60. It’s available in multiple colors, like red, and also comes in a few limited-edition designs. The Y70 skips the touchscreen of the Y70 Touch, making it a more affordable choice.

I forgot what Hyte's original case was numbered and was confused by this review. It was the Y60. Let's see what's different with this Y70

Just by chance I looked it up earlier today

I looked up the case because a Video mentioned a "Ramen" Theme PC.
This build seems to use the Y70 case, Source: https://www.aftershockpc.com/series/bubbletea-store

I had the impression it's the same case. When you ignore the LCD Panel which I think can be purchased separately.

The Hyte brand name continues to be looks over performance.
It is tested without fans as it doesn't come of the box with them, hence the hot box.

I've said it many times that they really should test all cases with 'pick-whatever-and-how-many-will-become-stock-for-testing' fans.

Sooo you CAN use add-on cards behind your GPU, they just have to be low profile, like an LP sound card, NICs are usually LP. All this effort just to admire your GPU from the front :p

I don't know ANYONE who runs a system without at least a few fans. It's a moronic idea.
I do know there is small, but dedicated community of fully passive PC builders.

So, technically not unheard of. Granted, it’s a niche case with specialized cooling, low power hardware and is not just “lol, I didn’t put any fans on my chassis”.

I agree but I don't work for TPU.
Do you think I do?

Fair points. It's very rare. The vast majority of PC owners use fans for cooling.

It's good to see HYTE releasing a version of the Y70 sans touchscreen, but I'm not that interested in this case for a few reasons. First, not everyone wants to vertically mount their GPU; I personally don't and have no interest in doing so. My main gripe with this case is the size, though. I think that microATX is a great form factor and I think HYTE should make a Y40 or something that's way smaller.

It is pretty dumb, but there's no shortage of dumb out there. Most people use whatever comes with their system. Some really cheaped out systems really do have silly configurations like no case fans and single channel memory.

"Detaching underside dust filter requires you to topple over case"
Personally I think it would be less painful, and easier to topple the case over. ;)
