Contrasting with the Atlantis, the ambidextrous LAMZU Maya comes with a centered hump. PixArt's PAW3395 sensor, Huano mechanical switches for the main buttons, and the ability to enjoy true 8000 Hz wireless polling through a dedicated dongle are on board as well, all wrapped into a 47 g package.

Thanks for always including thee scroll wheel height! It really makes it easier to but replacements. I ALWAYS turn to your reviews to see if you made one for %mouse% so I can get the wheel height.

As for the Maya; I might try it out, just a shame there arent more color options like the atlantis.

Anyone happen to know if PUBG can do 8KHz yet? I would doubt it since it can't even do Reflex or DLSS, but just curious.

To my knowledge, there are still stutter issues widely reported for high polling in PUBG, though obviously it’s not a definitive answer. I still would argue that going beyond 2KHz is essentially pointless for pretty much anyone anyway. The latency benefit just isn’t perceptible. The current polling race seems weirdly similar to the DPI race of years past where “higher is better” is now a marketing motto for manufacturers.

Release is slated for July, and it'll be available on the official LAMZU site and possibly retailers as well.

^ Thanks!

Furthermore, if I may give a bit of feedback. For the shape photo's maybe it is better to have, for example a light grey background. I'm afraid a white mouse on a white background doesn't give a good insight of the shape comparisons.

Lastly, accidental clicks do not occur when slamming down the mouse.

Love the review and tone , very thorough.
I really like the info chart and size comparison with other known mice an excellent touch.

As someone who owns both a Lamzu Thorn 4K and a Ninjutso Sora 4K, I strongly recommend you to review the Ninjutso. It is an awesome mouse with probably the best mouse clicks out of any mouse I've ever tried. It received a ton of accolades when it was released and totally deserves it. The Thorn is amazing but in my opinion slightly inferior to the Sora in terms of pure performance and build quality with an admittedly better scroll wheel.

Why do you want a review of something you already own? Weird behavior.

One would like a review of a product they know to be good in order to spread knowledge and give other people the options to make the best decision at purchase times. :) The mice market can be a total mine field with a million options, know which are good for the various types of grips and use cases is always useful. Plus, Ninjutsu seems to be less known than the other companies that get all the accolades and certainly deserve some spotlight.

Does Lamzu use their own 8k solution for their new dongle? I'm unsure as to how the process works tho

Ngl having a worse scrollwheel than the Lamzu thorn is quite an achievement XD

"Spread knowledge for other people". huh.....
Strange. Very strange.
Don't need a review for that.
Interesting

These reviews are incredible but rarely have I seen people request them for items they own.
