Why should I want a mouse with a higher polling rate? Ive never had issues with 1000hz...

I like the shape of this mouse I think. Too bad those buttons arent great.

Benchmark Scores I once clocked a Celeron-300A to 564MHz on an Abit BE6 and it scored over 9000.
I don't think anyone after a $50 mouse is fussed about 8K polling, so it being broken/unstable is a non-issue for anyone clued up enough to run it at "only" 2K polling.

$50 for a light, PAW3395, optical-switched mouse with no glaring issues and FULL on-board memory that means the shitware can be uninstalled is a decent offering.
