The Gigabyte C102 Glass Ice has an enticing price tag that warrants a closer look. With attention to detail along with ensuring all aspects of the case are white, it manages to offer a great base for compact mATX builds while retaining all the usual room for large components or liquid cooling, but there are a few shortcomings compared to the competition.

Well, at least they got about 99.85% of a true "WHITE" case...and another .012 worth of white paint on the thumbscrews would have completed the look, but some stupid bean counter decided to forgo that final step, so boo hoo to him/her/they/them :(

But anyways, I agree with all the hit & miss conclusions, as the reviewer banged them all on the head, and at least they kept it at an affordable price point, IF you're willing to accept it's limitations, which are quite common to this size of case, but oh well....

IF I were in the market for a small-ish case, I would probably have this one under consideration :D

Wouldn't it have been a benefit to come with 2 more fans on the front for another 10 dollar charge?

Benchmark Scores I once clocked a Celeron-300A to 564MHz on an Abit BE6 and it scored over 9000.
It's a shame it's flimsy.

The design looks great for $59 but honestly adding another $10 to get 0.7mm steel instead of 0.4mm steel makes all the difference. One is a nasty flimsy case that feel disposable and dents easily. The other is a robust home for your next three builds that will stand the test of time...

I like that it has 5 slots and a drilled PSU shroud for some extra GPU ventilation. Other than that, it looks strikingly similar to any Corsair case (which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but interesting to note).

Despite the downsides, this is a fair shout for Gigabyte. I like it.

It's a shame it's flimsy.
That is a subjective thing. It's possible that not everyone would agree or care that much. Most people set their PC in a spot and leave it there for years at a time.

What im surprised at - no STEALTH support for their own STEALTH ICE motherboards. huh.
