Cool to see stuff on the cheaper end! Not avaliable over here it seems though. Also I got a Plantronics/Poly C5220 new in box for like €25 during the pandemic and they are quite good, but still...

Anyway, about this:

"The omnidirectional pickup pattern means it could potentially pick up the mashing of your mechanical keyboard. To prevent that from happening, place the capsule close to your mouth and lower the microphone gain."

I really want to see some testing on this, because I feel it's important, especially in a world where seemingly every wants mechanical keyboards.

I was ready to scoff at a balanced headset but then I saw they included a DAC :eek:
I'd love to see DAC measurements but I understand those can be hard to do

The microphone is actually pretty good for a gaming headset. Yes, the RODE does sound clean and full, but for $60 with an omni-directional mic, it sounds way better than the standard mic on a Cloud II Wireless or the Logitech G PRO X (wired).
