Dangbei Launches the Highly Capable Freedo Portable Projector

These things are ten a penny all over Amazon, Ebay, Temu, Wish, Aliexpress etc.

Even if the picture quality is okay the biggest problem is tinny, quiet, audio from miniscule phone/tablet grade speakers. This one claims 360° surround sound which means multiple speakers and the laws of physics say that there's not enough room in there to make them very big.

You could probably plug it in to a bluetooth speaker like a JBL Charge 5 or any other bluetooth speaker that has a 3.5mm jack.

For sure, but these things always advertise "AMAZING" sound with Dolby or DTS or other madness and the appeal of them is always the all-in-one solution, to the extent that almost all of them include SmartTV interface that connects to streaming services so you don't even need to connect a phone or laptop to them (Google TV in this case).

The size of these things limits how good the sound is, and Dolby Audio 360° surround sound is a pretty lofty marketing claim for something that's physically too small to have drivers any larger than about 1.5" or so. It's going to sound tinny and small. If they've put some real effort into the audio it might sound like the smallest Amazon Echo Dot or a Google Home Mini but even those are horrible for playing music. I guess you could watch a dialogue-heavy tv show or something without getting too upset about the in-built audio but with sound quality in such a compact package we're simply running up against the laws of physics where peak volume is going to be limited and bass response will drop off far earlier than anyone wants given the dimensions of the driver(s).
